For use of Gladiator All-Weather Bait Blox in sewers, thread wire through the hole going through the middle of the block and securely attach the bait to a stationary object like the bottom of the ladder or sewer grate. Give the thread enough slack for it to gently rest right above the manhole benching. If the manhole benching is not available, suspend the block just a few inches above the high water mark or secure the block on a board that is supported by the opposing steps of the ladder. Use just one block per manhole. Monitor and maintain an uninterrupted supply of fresh bait for at least 10 days or until the signs of rat activity has stopped.
Rat Control: Apply 2-12 baits per placement in infested areas. Space placements of bait at intervals of 20-30 feet.
House Mice: Apply 1-2 baits per placement in infested areas. Space placements of bait at intervals of 8-12 feet.
Continue to monitor tamper-resistant bait stations that contain the bait and adjust the amount of bait that is applied to the expected level of feeding by rats and mice. Keep in mind that the highest bait consumption is expected to happen on the first few days of application. After a week, inspect bait placements and replenish baits at the sites that have been noted for heavy activity or where there is continued evidence of an infestation. Continue maintenance and application of bait for at least until all signs of rat and mouse activity have stopped. When activity has ceased, collect and dispose of rat or mice carcasses and leftover bait.
REMEMBER to always wear protective gear like gloves when you are handling the bait and when you are handling carcasses of the rodents.
