Thank you for contacting us. It is very costly to have bedbugs treated by professionals. We carry bed bug control kits that may be found on our website at www.pestmall.com. If you search for "bed bug kit
", various kits should show on your screen. Treating for bed bugs yourself would be a less costly option.
Q. Bed Bugs / District of Columbia?
Hi there! I commented in one of the FAQ sections of bed bug issues, but direct contact will probably be best. I have a bed bug issue currently within my studio apartment, it's not a big place, so the distances from my bed and other areas of the apartment are minimal. A week or so ago, I started getting bedbug bites and my experience in the hotel biz years ago gave me a quick heads up as to what the problem was. I did a thorough cleaning, inspection, spraydown with the best stuff I could find in a store around here (probably not so great in comparison to pro-stuff), but I want to be thorough and completely remove the issue. What combination would you suggest for someone with these specifics: - I have a cat. I need to make sure that it's pet safe or have a breakdown on what to do to keep my cat safe. - I live in the District of Columbia in an apartment building. I'm not sure which species is prevalent here. My apartment is a studio, less than 1000 sq ft. I have a queen size bed and a leather sofa, hardwood floors and some throw rugs. I know that all of those are factors for possible hiding spots. - Thanks to my building management controlling the heat, they have perfect conditions to live in, not too hot, not too cold. I already plan on getting covers for my queen mattress, queen box spring and pillows. But I'm at a loss for the insecticides.
It is good that you are already considering getting covers, your mattress must be encased. We have bed bug kits available. The basic bed bug kit
which includes Bedlam bug spray, Alpine Dust, and Gentrol IGR. The spray is used for surface treatment on mattresses, drawers, bedframes, curtains, carpeted areas, or other areas that you would often come into direct contact with.
Bedlam also includes a straw tool for foaming into cracks and crevices. Once Bedlam is applied, allow it to dry for a couple of hours. Once it is dry, it is safe for you and your cat to walk freely. You should spray once a week for light infestations or twice a week for heavy infestations.
Alpine dust is good for places that don't experience heavy traffic, areas such as behind picture frames, electrical sockets. Treatment in sockets are highly recommended because bedbugs travel through the wall void areas and come out through the cracks and crevices of electrical sockets.
Keep in mind that when you are applying the Mother Earth dust, that you dont apply "piles" but rather apply thin layers. Bedbugs will not walk through the piles of dust, they will simply walk around it, so its important to apply thin layers. The bedbug kit comes with a duster that will aid in applying the dust.
It also comes with and IGR. An IGR is an insect growth regulator. Bedbugs are known to reproduce quickly. One female bed bug can produce up to a 1000 eggs in her lifetime, therefore it is important to stop the reproduction cycle.
Q. Want bed bug pesticide?
I live in Hong Kong, my room have many bed bugs and bed bugs' eggs, i have tried many methods but i can't destroy the bugs. How can I do? Can you tell me more about your product and how can I purchase it? Is it harmful to human?
Hi, since you are in Hong Kong, we cannot send any aerosol spray products.
However, we have a product named Demand CS which comes in 8 oz bottle and Gentrol IGR (insect growth regulator) in 1 oz bottles.
To treat bed bugs, you should mix 1 ounce to 2 ounces of Demand CS chemical and an ounce of Gentrol IGR with a gallon of water. This will treat bed bugs and kill their eggs. Are you looking to treat your whole house? If so, how many rooms are you looking to treat?
Q. bed bugs insect treatment?
I live an apartment building and it seem every one has bed bugs. I had the terminator out here about two days a go and it didn't help because they are infested with them so I wanted to get a product to do it myself, but I don't want to spend a million dollars either. I also have a cat and I'm afraid she will get sick if I keep having the sterminators come out. I really don't know what to do because I'm being bit and nothing seems to work because I feel they just come from the other apartments.
A. It becomes very difficult to treat for bed bugs in an apartment complex because all the apartments are connected by wall voids, which are areas that bed bugs use to travel. Use a dust to apply in the wall void. Dusts provide long residuals and so you do not need to apply it but every 3-5 months. Use liquid concentrate sprays that also have fairly long residuals in cracks and crevices that are near the wall. Typically, the corners where the floor meets the wall is going to be a prime area where the liquid sprays are applied. Also, in the meanwhile, use the bed bug tent to protect you from getting bit from the bed bugs. This provides 360 degrees of protection and will give you comfort throughout the treatment.
Q. what to do about bed bugs?
I HAVE LOT OF BED BUGS.DO YOU ANY THING WHICH CONTROL BED BUGS.
Bed bug control involved several different products for a complete control.
Use an aerosol like Phantom Aerosol in intimate areas like your mattress seams, bed frames, box spring, around the sofa, sofa cushion seams, and etc.
Use a liquid concentrate insecticide with a larger area like Cyzmic for the immediate areas surrounding your furniture like on rugs. You also must apply liquid concentrate sprays on areas like the base/floor boards in each room.
Use an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) like Gentrol IGR with the liquid concentrate insecticide in the same areas that you are spraying (base floor boards, rugs, etc).
*Aerosol or other liquid sprays must be given ample time to dry before reentry.
Finally, apply a long residual dust product like Alpine Dust in areas that are hard to reach, hardly accessible like behind or under furniture, in the wall void, behind hanging picture frames, and etc. If you have a child or pet that can access certain areas, do not apply the dust there.
We have bed bug kits with all the mentioned products. You can browse our bed bug kits here:

Q. best product for bed bug control??
What is the best product for do-it-yourself bed bug control?
A. Bed Bug control requires several steps and materials for a complete control. We recommend our bed bug kits which included all the necessary chemicals for DIY Bed Bug control. We also recommend such non-chemical products like bed bug monitors (Eco Keeper Bed Bug Monitor and Glue Trap) and also non-chemical control machines like the Steamer and Cleaner. Also, we have products that will protect you from bed bugs during treatment like the Eco Keeper Bed Bug Tent and mattress and box spring covers.
Q. how to kill bed bugs at home?
i have bed bugs. i sprayed a product called suspend insecticide that kills bed bugs, but i don't have the direction label. my question is , after spaying do you need to stay out of the room for a certain length of time.
I'm so sorry to hear that you have bed bugs. Suspend SC is safe to use indoors, but NOT on your mattress or ontop or furniture. You can spray it in other areas and do a broadcast treatment. We just recommend that no one else besides the applicator is in the area during application. Once the product is dry, which takes about 30 minutes, it should be safe for any pets or humans to re-enter the treated area.
Another thing I would strongly recommend for you if you have bed bugs is to encase your mattresses and box springs. Those are very common hiding spots for bed bugs. If you were to throw out your mattress and bu a new one, it will just get infested again. That is why we recommend that your encase your mattress. Because bed bugs are nocturnal and usually come out an hour or two before dawn, they like to hide where it's easy access.
Once you encase your mattress, you can spray Bedlam ontop of the encasement.
Q. Is Talstar or any of your other products a drying agent??
A. Unfortunately, we do not understand "drying agent". Talstar Pro is a liquid concentrate that you dilute with water and spray to kill flying and crawling insects upon contact.
Q. cAN YOUR PRODUCTS BE SHIPPED TO ny?
A. New York does not allow much of the chemicals into the state. Please refer to each specific item to view state restrictions. If you have specific items you are looking at, please give us a call or send us an email at email@example.com so that we may be able to further assist you.
Q. Cynoff EC to treat bed bugs??
My exterminator has been using Cynoff EC to treat our bed bug problem. But after researching this product I haven't been able to find any information linking this product to the extermination of bed bugs. Am I missing something? Can Cynoff EC and cypermethrin be used to treat bed bugs?
A. You are correct, Cynoff EC does not have bed bugs on the label as a target pest. We are not sure if the cypermethrin active ingredient is effective for bed bug control. You may want to request a chemical change to a deltamethrin or a lambda-cyhalothrin active ingredient.
Q. best bed bug insecticide?
I was wondering if Talstar Insecticide also worked for bedbugs. I have heard from alot of people that it does, but I noticed that they are not listed in the description of the product
A. You can find bed bugs on the product label of Talstar. Talstar is a general insecticide and targets many different insects. The listed species on our web site under Talstar are ones that are commonly targeted using Talstar, however since the bed bug epidemic Talstar pro has tested their product on bed bugs and have recently added them as a targeted pest on their product label
Q. which is the best residual bed bug killer and how much is needed for an average 3 bedroom home? we want to treat entire home, although has not reached an infestation quit yet. Noticing 3-5 bites in a few days. all ready treated with raid bedbug killer as well as steam cleaned carpets prior to treating with raid. No bites for a week. Now a week later waking up with a couple bites again.?
A. Any residual concentrate with bed bugs on the product label will kill bed bugs. We recommend Zenprox EC, which allows for indoor broadcast application as well. We also recommend using Gentrol IGR, which is an insect growth regulator.
Q. how to get rid of bed bugs yourself?
i recently moved to US New jersey with family and took one apartment. I have two small kids, from the day too my kids getting itching and something like red patches all over the body.am really worried about.it seems there may be bedbugs and i haven't noticed any till now. please suggest me how to get rid of it.
A. Unfortunately, we are unable to give you recommendations of any insecticides until you are able to identify the pest. Red marks or spots can be a result of a variety of things and not just bed bugs, therefore, we will not be able to identify the pest just from the marks on the body.
Q. will the Onslaught work with the Gentrol??
A. Onslaught is a pyrethroid insecticide that has an active ingredient that will kill. Gentrol is an insect growth regulator that does not have a killing effect. The two active ingredients in Onslaught and Gentrol will not neutralize each other and so it is alright to mix the two in the same gallon of water to apply in one application. Keep in mind though that certain pests are highly affected by the IGR and other pests are not really affected by IGR at all. Depending on the pest, using Gentrol will or will not be effective.
Q. Difference between the sprays, insecticides, and the kit ?
How do I use / apply the insecticides? what is the difference between insecticides and the spray and the kit besides the cost? is the bed bugs insecticides a bottle liquid where I put in a spray bottle and spray? Is it safe to spray on carpet, mattress, and couch? I am already having Pest Control to treat my bedroom, they said my couch in the living room was not infected, but I feel like it is infected, and I want to buy a bottle of insecticides to treat the areas myself.
A. All the products in the kids can be purchased separately. Spray is an insecticide. Technically, insecticide is a general term for any product that will kill insects. Concentrate insecticides and aerosol sprays are different in formulation and have different killing methods as well as different residual times. None of the products we carry are labeled for broadcast application indoors and so it is not safe to spray all over the carpets. If you need to treat your furniture, you can only treat the frame of the furniture like the head board and legs of the bed, the seams and edges of the mattress, in between the mattress and box spring, the frame of the sofa, beneath the cushions of the sofa, and etc. Bedlam is the recommended aerosol for furniture. It can be used to treat the frame of the furniture and other tight cracks and crevices. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.
Q. Hi I have bedbugs in my apartement and I know that insesticide could recommend to remove .. EcoCap fenvasta use control. worked for me but that's just a control and not eliminate them ..?
A. Using just one product for bed bug control may not be very effective because that one product may not be able to treat all locations and as thoroughly as you may need. Since bed bugs are so small and flat, they are able to hide in virtually any crack or crevice. That is why we have bed bug kits available because the kits include a variety of different products to use in different target areas of the room. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.
Q. Will lindane in solution kill bed bugs??

Q. iam looking for a pestiside for all stages of bed bugs ?

A. The instructions can be found on our website under the description of Bed Bug Commercial Kit.
Q. I don't want to control the bed bugs; I want to get rid of them for good. How do I eliminate the bugs??
A. Getting the bed bug numbers controlled is part of the process of eventually eliminating the bed bug infestation. Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this except through repeated thorough treatments. The best approach would be to start off with a bed bug kit which will allow you to safely treat the areas needed.
which one of your products is better for the eggs and the bugs? to take care every stage at once or do i have to treat with two different products? please help!!!!
A. For bed bug treatment Bedlam Plus is an excellent product to target bed bugs in all their different stages. However the Bedlam plus does not have a long residual compared to some of the liquid concentrates such as phantom
