Bensumec 4LF is a preemergent herbicide which controls crabgrass, annual bluegrass and other annual weeds listed in established turf grass ( Bahiagrass, Bentgrass, Bluegrass, Bermudagrass, Centipedegrass, Fescue, Pensacola bahiagrass, ryegrass, Redtop, St. Augustinegrass, Zoysiagrass) and golf courses.

Bensumec 4LF must be watered into the soil immediately after application. Irrigate with 0.5 to 1 inch of water following the herbicide application to established lawns.

Application of Bensumec 4LF must precede emergence of weeds from the soil. Crabgrass will emerge from the soil from 4 to 6 weeks before it is visible above lawn sod. If weeds are visible above the soil it is too late to apply Bensumec 4LF.

Bensumec 4LF does not control established weeds. For the control of established weeds, Bensumec 4LF may be used in conjunction with herbicides registered for post-emergence use.
