A. You will not be able to use Bora Care on any tree or plant life because it is a borate product and it will kill the tree or plant you are treating.
Q. What is the difference between Bora Care and Timbor??
A. Although both of these products are borate products, safe, and odorless, Timbor is used more to protect new wood or wood that has yet to be infested rather than to treat infestations because it comes in a wettable powder form. This makes it so that it only penetrates the outer layer of the wood for surface fungi and infestation protection. If you already have an infestation in the wood or are looking to treat exterior wood, we would recommend that you use Bora Care because it has a longer residual time than Timbor.
Q. I'm interested in purchasing the Boracare termiticide product from your site.?
A. Yes, you may use boracare to treat indoors. When using boracare it is recommended that you apply it to unfinished wood surfaces which allow the boracare to penetrate deeply into the wood. Applying the boracare to finished surfaces will only keep the boracare termiticide/insecticide on the surface on the finishing on the wood. When treating already finished wood drilling holes and injecting the termiticide may be necessary. Whether you decide to foam or just spray does not make a great difference but foaming seems most effective in the aspect that it takes up three dimensional spaces within the wall void area. If you decide to use foam, then you will need to purchase separately a foaming concentrate as well as a foaming machine. Good Luck!
Q. Does this bottle has factory seal under the lid??
A. Boracare does not have a factory seal under the lid. We do not sell mixer to go with Boracare. You mix Boracare with water. Depending on the target pest, the dilution rate will be different. For termites it will be 1:1. For wood boring beetles like powderpost beetles, you can mix it 1:3 we mean 1 Boracare and 3 Water or 1 Boracare and 1 Water. Boracare states that the residual is lifetime. It should last at least 8-10 years.
