Do You Have a Question about this Product? Ask Our Experts!

Q. Cyonara 9.7 effect on bed bugs?
A.  Hello, Actually, because Cyonara is a delay kill, as most other liquid insecticides, it will not kill them the minute they come in contact with it. It is a non repellent so the bed bugs should be able to walk through and and bring it back to their nesting area-- exposing others to the Cyonara as well. It will kill them in a couple of hours. It can also work as a weakening mechanism and make other products more effective against bed bugs. If you are trying to target bed bugs, I would recommend taking a look at our bed bug kits. Because bed bugs are one of the hardest pests to get rid of, we put together some products that will give you maximum results when used together consistently. If you have any other questions about bed bugs or how to use the kits, feel free to post a comments again!

A.  The active indgredients in Cyonara and almost all other liquid insecticides are restricted to the state of New York because it has not been registered. Therefore, we are not able to ship this Cyonara out to anyone in New York, Alaska, Vermont, or Connecticut. However, we do have 2 bed bug kits especially made for New York: New York Bed Bug Control Kit (1~2 Bed Rooms) and the NEW YORK BED BUG CONTROL KIT (Small Rooms).

Q. Cyonara for ant treatment.?
A.

We recommend applying Cyonara 9.7 to any trails around doors and windows and other places where ants may be found. For best results, locate and treat nests.

Where ants are trailing inside, apply as a residual surface treatment to active areas such as baseboards, corners, around pipes, in and behind cabinets, behind and under refrigerators, sinks, furnaces and stoves, cracks and crevices.

Also consider applying Cyonara as a barrier around the entire perimeter of the house or structure.

Q. fire ant control?
A.  For fire ant control, we recommend treating individual mounds with a drench application using a watering can. Use 0.5 fl. oz. of Cyonara 9.7 Insecticide per 2.5 gals. of water. Thoroughly soak each mound and a 3 ft. diameter circle around each mound. Gently apply the mixture to avoid disturbing the mound. Disturbing the mound may cause the ants to migrate and reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

For best results, apply in early morning or late evening hours. You may make applications on a monthly basis to maintain protection of treated areas or use a bait to ensure that they cannot survive.
