Directions for DEMAND CS Use
Use Demand CS for surface, crack and crevice or spot treatments. The product comes as a concentrate that must be diluted with water and applied using application equipment such as hand/power sprayers.
Shake well before using. Mix Demand CS with water to produce solutions. Finished solutions can be converted to foam using foaming agents to treat structural voids and nests. Solutions may have 0.015% to 0.06% active ingredient content, depending on the target pest/s and the severity of their infestations. Other registered insecticides may be added to yield solutions with multiple capabilities. Please read the product label for dilution tables and application rates.
Apply as a coarse, low pressure spray to indoor or outdoor sites and surfaces. Spray to areas where insects are seen congregating, hiding, breeding and other potential harborage areas. Pay special attention to cracks, crevices and voids in structures. Treat these areas with liquid or foam using appropriate equipment and methods.
Demand CS can also be used to create perimeter barriers, treat infestations in ornamental plants and turf and for subsurface treatments to control mole crickets and ants. Refer to the product label for specific instructions on how to control target pests.
Where to Apply DEMAND CS
Demand CS is for use in, on and around residential, commercial, institutional, public, agricultural and industrial buildings/structures.
Please refer to and follow the instructions on the product label.

However, if you are experiencing irritation after your home has been treated, it may be due to HOW it has been treated. For products like Demand CS, it is supposed to be used only as spot treatment, so treating in the baseboard areas or under the couch or beds.
It is NOT to be sprayed all over the carpets and beds, which happens more often than not.If this is the case, you may simply vacuum the product off the carpets. Also, dilution rates may have effected irritation as well.
When using Demand CS, please be careful to read the product label carefully for dilution rates.Demand SC is micro-encapsulated to have a longer residual and once it is dry, it is safe to use around your pets.
If you want to take more precautions, any liquid insecticide with the active ingredient Fipronil is exceptionally safe for your pets.
However, once the Demand SC has dried, it should be safe for your pets, just make sure they are not around during the application process
Demand CS is up to 200 times more active than other insecticides on flies, spiders, mosquitoes, bedbugs and other insects because Demand's iCAP technology shields the active ingredient, lambda-cyhalothrin, from UV rays, pH extremes, and absorption into porous surfaces.
So it remains intact longer, ready to be released when an insect makes contact with the treated area.
Demand CS would be a good product because it has a long residual time for up to 6 months due to its micro-encapsulation.
To create a 50 gallon ratio out of an 8oz Demand CS bottle, you would need to use a dilution rate of about 0.2 fl oz, however, we advise to stay consistent with whatever dilution rate it is labeled for the control of flies.
For silverfish treatment you can use the small dilution rate of demand cs 3ml or .1oz to 1/2 gallon of water for light to moderate infestations.
If you feel that a stronger dilution rate is necessary especially for heavier infestations (see more than 3 or 4 each day) you can begin to mix with a stronger dilution rate of 6ml or .2oz to 1/2 gallon of water.
