Do You Have a Question about this Product? Ask Our Experts!
Normally, you will need a license to purchase, but since we have a license that allows us to sell these professional grade products to the general public, as long as they are using it for personal pest control and not for resale, we are able to sell it you on Pest Mall.
We cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the product, as we do not manufacture the product. But we know that this product is highly effective in roach control.
Also, in order to better assist you, we would like to know what type of roaches you have in or around your home.
Are they indoor roaches like the German roaches? or are they large outdoor roaches like American roaches?According to the Demon WP label that termite carton nests in trees or building voids may be injected with 0.25-0.50% solution using a pointed injection tool.
Multiple injection points to varying depths may be necessary. It is desirable to physically remove carton nest material from building voids when such nests are found.
For individual fire ant mounds, apply Demon WP as a drench treatment. Gently apply a total of one gallon of solution over the surface of mounds up to 12 inches in diameter.
It is advisable to use 2 gallons for larger mounds. Thoroughly wet mound and surrounding area. Treat new mounds as they appear.
Pressurized sprays may disturb the ants and cause migration. If possible, applications should be made on warm days after recent rainfall.
All colonies in the vicinity should be treated, including those that have not yet constructed a mound.
We recommend making exterior treatments in late summer or early fall before flies are observed alighting on surfaces and then apply thoroughly on siding, under eaves, and around windows and doors, paying particular attention to south-facing surfaces.
It is advisable to apply just enough dilution to adequately cover the area without excessive dripping or runoff. Heavy precipitation prior to frost may require re-treatments to maintain protection.
Well, Demon WP Insecticide is not an attractant or a lure so it will not actually lure them out.
However, normally, you will see higher activity when they are disturbed. Since Demon WP has a delay kill effect, it may be that infected roaches that have come in contact with the poison are making it back in time and disturbing the nest in some way. Also, normally, roaches will not come out when there is light. That is typically why they will scatter when the light is turned on.
However, if they were to come in contact with this pesticide or any pesticide of its like, it interrupts their internal nervous system and they cannot differentiate such things as normal routines and etc. This may also be why you are seeing more of them than usual.
Treating for roaches will really depend on the type of species that you have infesting your home. Also, indoor and outdoor control will vary a little bit and some methods will be more effective than the other depending on location and species of the roaches.
However, we would like to assure you that Demon WP is by far one of the most powerful pesticides available for a broad spectrum of crawling insects.
It would not be normal if it didn't kill any pests at all. But if you are interested in other methods of kill, please feel free to contact us again.
Thank you for the reply.
Demon WP actually has a residual time of 2-3 months and it is only necessary to continue to spray more than that if the infestation is very heavy, but you should not spray more than once every 8-10 days.
Also, additional material will really depend on the species of roaches that you have, but we always recommend a bait type of poison for roach control.
Dupont Advion Roach bait gel, Alpine roach bait gel are just a few of the ones that we recommend for roach control. Baits are especially effective for indoor roach control
