Q. How and where can apply Gentrol / GR concentrate??
A.  There are two ways to apply Gentrol IGR. Mix the 1 oz. bottle of Gentrol IGR with a concentrated form of an insecticide and I gallon of water so that you may conveniently spray both chemicals at the same time or add 1 oz. of Gentrol to one gallon of water and apply the diluted solution in all areas where the concentrated insecticide had previously been applied. A common place to treat would be behind head boards, along the floor and wall meeting points and where the head board and rails meets for the bed. You should not apply the Gentrol to bed linens or mattresses.

Q. can i mix demand cs and gentrol?
A.  Yes, you can mix demand cs and gentrol igr. Gentrol is basically a synthetic hormone "look-a-like" which disrupts the normal growth and development of the pest. Thus it is okay to use the gentrol and demand cs together because both chemicals are not end use products

Q. Pet Safe??
A.  It is alright for reentry as long as the treated area has been left alone to completely dry. Once it is dry, which usually takes about 2-3 hours, it is alright for reentry. You can check to see if it is still damp by using gloves and a paper towel to press on the areas that have been applied with Gentrol.

Q. I've got rice moths in my pantry (food storage area) and laundry room (pet food storage). Where in the room should I spray this? Do I need to remove all food before spraying??
A.  You should apply Gentrol in the cracks, crevices and corners of infested locations. All food must be removed and treated areas must be left alone until it is completely dry before reentry. We would like you to keep in mind that Gentrol IGR does not have a killing effect and it will only regulate the growth of the insect so that it will not be able to physically mature to reproduce.
