Q. The product label for the Precor 2000 Plus premise.?
A.  The Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) in the Precor 2000 Plus Premise Spray actually tapers with the reproductive system of your targeted pest, which in this case would be fleas or ticks, and prevents them from being able to further reproduce, leaving only the existing infestation to get rid of. Precor 2000 PLus Premise Spray will actually kill adult fleas, ticks, and the hatching eggs of fleas.

Q. How long do I have to leave the house for after applying??
A.  We recommend 3-4 hours but it may take more or less time than that. You should put on gloves, take a piece of paper towel and lightly press on a small area that was treated with the spray. If you notice that the towel is damp or wet, the treated area has not completely dried yet.

Q. Can I spray Precor 2000 on the inside of my jeans or in my drawer??
A.  Precor should not be used directly on skin. You must take out all of the clothing items and place them in the wash in a warm/hot setting. Afterwards, you would need to treat the drawers with Precor 2000. The chemical has a residual of about 1-2 weeks. The flea and eggs will need to come in contact with the chemical for it to be effective.

Q. kitchen counter ?
A.  Unfortunately, it is not labeled for the top of kitchen counters and so we are unable to recommend this to you. Usually though, fleas will not be able to withstand surfaces that are not upholstered. Thorough daily cleaning of the surfaces of the counter as well as daily vacuuming will help you control that area. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Q. How long does it take to work? ?
A.  Flea control is difficult because of their pupa stage. If they are in their protective pupa, it is difficult to treat them and say that the spray will kill all fleas on contact. Moreover, because this is a contact spray, there may be areas that have been missed with the initial treatment. Flea control will extend beyond a single treatment of an aerosol, short-residual, contact spray. Instead, you will have to consider an integrated approach that includes both non-chemical treatments and chemical treatments that include contact sprays, long residual sprays and IGR treatment. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Q. precore 2000 .. we applied precore to carpets for a flea problem...following instructions...5 days later...we have fleas again....retreated....now...3 days later....we are seeing fleas agin...why?....is it safe to spray again now in our home?..?
A.  Flea control is hard because of the different stages of development that they undergo and because of their ability to hide deep in carpets as well as cracks and crevices. Sometimes, just one treatment of a short residual aerosol spray like Precor will not suffice for complete control. An integrated approach of non-chemical methods like vacuuming on a daily basis in conjunction with chemical treatments that include both short residual, fast knockdown sprays like Precor 2000 and long residual sprays like Conquer with the use of an IGR like Precor IGR is the best approach for fleas. The long residual sprays are mixed with water and diluted before application. Keep in mind that all treated areas must be left alone until the treatment has completely dried. Long residual sprays are only sprayed once every three months and short residual sprays like Precor 2000 are spray every 5-10 days. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Q. My cat loves to hang out in the laundry room and lay on the clothes. Is it safe to apply Precor to clothing and obviously to wash them after treatment??
A.  There will be no need to treat clothing with Precor if you are going to wash it right away. Washing your clothes in hot temperature and running it in the dryer will naturally kill any bugs on your clothing.

Q. When can I first vacuum my carpets after a treatment with precore 2000?
A.  You should vacuum before treatment and remove the bag or empty the vacuum so that anything inside the back or vacuum will not be able to find its way back on your floor. After application, we would recommend waiting 2-3 days before vacuuming.
