Premise 2 features Imidacloprid in a non-repellent formulation designed to eliminate termites in soil or in damaged wooden structures. A great alternative to repellent termiticides, Premise totally removes termite presence by killing them with its powerful active ingredient.

As a low cost alternative we recommend Dominion 2L which is also a non-repellent termiticide.

Premise 2 Termiticide - 240 ml.

Premise is a non-repellent termiticide from Bayer. Unlike repellent barriers, Premise leaves treatment zones that are undetectable to termites. What makes Premise better than repellent termiticides is that it kills termites instead of driving them away. As termites burrow or forage for cellulose, they are exposed to the active ingredient. Social insects such as termites exhibit trophallaxis or shared feeding which makes them vulnerable to Premise. The active ingredient is spread throughout the colony as workers contact other termites. In addition, the contaminated food source is consumed by the colony members and the poison spreads like wildfire.

Why Should You Use?

Premise prevents infestations by killing the Wood Destroying Organism. Premise 2 Termiticide, a product manufactured by bayer, is long lasting and works great when treating localized areas of known subterranean activity, it can be used to treat drywood and dampwood termites as well.

Target Pest(s): Subterranean Termites, Drywood Termites, Dampwood Termites, Carpenter Ants, and other wood-infesting insects. (See product label)

Q. premise termite?

Premise Foam and Premise 2 Termiticide contain the same active ingredient but of a different percentage. They are both very efficient products.

For spot treatment in the wall void areas, the foam may be preferred over the liquid. If you plan to do a trenching treatment around the structure, liquid would be preferred over the foam.

Q. san diego dry wood termite problem?
A.  Dry wood termites and subterranean termites require different types of treatment. It is important that you are able to identify what type of termite is infesting your home. If you have subterranean termites, you will have to do outdoor ground treatment. Ground treatment can be done with Termidor. Isolated infestations indoors though, can be done with Premise 2 or Premise foam.

Q. Is the foam spray can method effective ? ?
A.  It really depends on where you are applying the treatment. If you are treating a large surface area, then the liquid termite spray will be more effective. If you are trying to treat in tight cracks or crevices, the foam will be me more effective because it will expand and fill in the cracks. For the wall void, the foam is usually more effective because it will cling onto the surface better and expand to fill up a space.
