Q.getting rid of varied carpet beetles
Would your boric acid be useful to get rid of varied carpet beetles? I currently have only larva (it's Sept.) Last night found 22 in a small area. Can I sprinkle it along the edge of the carpet (so I don't vacuum it up daily)? Thanks!
A.Boric Acid is primarily an ingestion poison and will not be very effective for varied carpet beetle infestations. We recommend spraying 565 Plus XLO in the crack and crevices or the edges of the carpet. It will have a lasting residual for about 1-2 weeks.
