Q.they are boring into my wook shed so. how can i stop this
A.If they are boring in to your wood shed, you may be dealing with carpenter bees. Carpenter bees have a black shiny abdomen which differentiates them from Bumble bees. The best way to treat for carpenter bees is to use Delta Dust and dust around the entrance holes from which they are traveling back and fourth. You will have to continue to monitor the area for a couple weeks. Once you begin to notice a decrease in their activity and have eradicated the problem we recommend closing up the holes to prevent future water damage and re infestations. If this is an annual problem we also recommend that you follow up with spraying an insecticide along the sides of the shed.
